Designed in collaboration with a Swiss architect, built in the late Nineties by Top Thapa (Nepali) and his late wife Judith Thapa-Maag (SwissGerman) Charikot Panorama resort boasts stunning 360° mountain views

Charikot is located in the Dolakha district in North-East Nepal, the gateway to discover the off-beaten paths of the Gaurishankar conservation area.
It was officially opened on the 1st of January, 2000. There are 7-8 regular staff members, all from the local communities and always putting your comfort first. You will enjoy our choice of cosy common spaces when you are not touring the region or hiking. Relaxing with a book or a board game with friends or family, is our visitor’s favourite attractions. Located on a picturesque hilltop, with fresh garden vegetables, homemade desserts, Swiss food options on the menu, you have the perfect combination for an unforgettable stay.
