Charikot is located in the Dolakha district in North-East Nepal, the gateway to discover the off-beaten paths of the Gaurishankar conservation area.
It was officially opened on the 1st of January, 2000. There are 7-8 regular staff members, all from the local communities and always putting your comfort first. You will enjoy our choice of cosy common spaces when you are not touring the region or hiking. Relaxing with a book or a board game with friends or family, is our visitor’s favourite attractions. Located on a picturesque hilltop, with fresh garden vegetables, homemade desserts, Swiss food options on the menu, you have the perfect combination for an unforgettable stay.
Rooms
Our 21 rooms are spread out in all corners of the resort. We can provide single beds, double beds and triple beds, all with attached bathrooms, with hot water and heaters in winter. Breakfast can be served either in our restaurant or overlooking the majestic mountain Gaurishankar on the terrace. Our selection of homemade jams breads and desserts are a must-try.
