"THE PERSISTENCE OF A DREAM"
Charikot Panorama Resort was designed, in collaboration with a Swiss architect, and built in the late Nineties by Top Thapa (Nepali) and his late wife Judith Thapa-Maag (Swiss). It was officially opened on the 1st of January, 2000.
Great care was taken to use local materials and to blend the buildings with the local style, be it in stone masonry or with the white washed bungalows. We grow most of our vegetables including salads ourselves. To work and to cook
in hygienic conditions is one of our main goals. We provide a comfortable stay surrounded by a 360° spectacular view in a friendly and homely atmosphere,
far from stress, noise and pollution.
2015 EARTHQUAKE
Damaged by the second earth quake in May 2015, the restaurant, kitchen, meeting hall and 4 rooms had to be entirely rebuilt. A sauna and chalet were newly added along with 6 additional sleeping rooms which took two years to rebuild all together.
OUR TEAM
There are 7-8 regular staff members, all from the local communities around and trained by the Resort. Allow them to take care of everything, they will always put your comfort first.
